On Friday, September 16, 2022, the “Humboldt Forum” in Berlin will open its last ethnographic exhibitions on “Africa” and “the Americas”. Colonial loot, human bones and sacred belongings of living cultures will be exhibited in the rebuilt palace of Kaiser Wilhelm II against the explicit wish of their rightful owners. This is why the network Huaca, an association of people from Abya Yala, the so-called “Americas”, calls for solidarity with all those affected by this racist state project.
COME ALL to the demonstration on 16/09/22 from 15.30–6:00 pm at the Lustgarten in front of the “Humboldt Forum”. Bring banners and posters! Say what you feel! Afterwards we will meet with BARAZANI.berlin at the action center SPREEUFER (Spreeufer 6, 10178 Berlin – behind the “Humboldt Forum”) for food and drinks, and to exchange ideas until late into the night.
